Standing on a wooden box, Roy announced loudly.
As Roy finished speaking, all the people present formed an orderly line and started coming forward one by one.
“Lin, currently only has one gift [Recover], has no skills, and my Ki reserves are 250.”
“Next!”
“Wait, I am a very good cook.”
Before the girl had any chance to protest, someone dragged her away.
“Hyun, have two gifts [Strengthening] and [Brute Force], don't have any skill, my reserves are around 300.”
“You can go wait there on the right. Next!”
“Minh, have two gifts [Enhance] and [Muscle Growth], have [Fire Ball] skill, and my reserves are 632.”
“Eh, Minh, right? Have you been with any parties before?” Roy was somewhat surprised by Minh's selection of gifts.
“No, but I have been hunting with friends.”
“You can go wait to the right. Next!”
It wasn't long before it was Kenji's turn.
“K..kenji, only have…one gift…[Boost]... don't have any…skills, and my…reserves are around…300.” Kenji made up things on the spot, after all he didn't want to join the Silver Party and always be near Rex.
Roy paused for a moment and stare at Kenji for few moments before saying, “Next!”
Although he had seen Kenji work and his gift [Boost] seemed promising, they would have to invest too much into him before he would be of any use to the party.

Getting what he wanted, Kenji happily headed back to the housing complex.
Returning back to his room, Kenji got the carefully hidden bottle of Body Refining Pills.
As the bottle was opened, a strong medicinal smell filled Kenji's nose.
Getting a pill out of the bottle, Kenji held it in his hand for a few moments before taking it.
The pill passed through his neck and entered the stomach. However, unlike how the food pill would immediately release a burst of energy the moment it hit his stomach, nothing happened.
“Maybe…it takes time….” Kenji waited for half a minute, but nothing happened. The Body Refining Pill seemed to be chilling in his stomach.
Taking matters into his own hands, Kenji began drawing the essence of the Body Refining Pill. Within a few minutes, Kenji had a ball of pure chaotic energy inside his body, while the Body Refining Pill had completely dissolved.
Looking at the ball of energy inside his stomach, Kenji had no idea what to do with it. According to what Mary told him, the Body Refining Pill releases energy, which the body automatically absorbs and strengthens itself.
But the Body Refining Pill disappeared, and he was left with a ball of energy just sitting there in his stomach.
“This feels….” Having no idea what he was doing, Kenji kept circulating the ball of energy through his body. Whenever the pure refining essence passed by his organs, bones, and veins, some of it would be absorbed.
Knowing that his method was working, Kenji kept circulating the Body Refining Pill’s essence throughout his body.
At first, Kenji didn't feel anything unusual, but as time passed he would feel his body becoming stronger. An hour later, the whole ball of pure chaotic essence was gone, and Kenji seemed to have gained a little muscle mass.
“15 with…just one pill.” To test his newly acquired strength, Kenji did some push ups, and the result had him in disbelief.
Before taking the Body Refining Pill, Kenji had only been able to do a maximum of 7–8 push ups, but now, with just a single pill, his strength doubled.
Seeing the results of the Body Refining Pill, something came over Kenji as he frantically opened the bottle and took two pills at the same time.
“45, 46, 47……, 50!”
Around two hours later, Kenji looked completely different. Although his body frame didn't change, he gained quite a bit of muscle mass.
But Kenji didn't stop there; he kept taking one pill after another, and it wasn't long before it was already morning.

After digesting the last pill, Kenji got up in a daze and headed toward the bath.
After the bath, Kenji was planning on catching some sleep, but remembering the promise with Duy and Muhammed, he left his room and headed for the city gate.
“That was Kenji, right?” Kevin, who was about to go to work, was surprised by the sudden change in Kenji.
“Yeah, it was him, but what happened?” Maria couldn't explain what had happened to Kenji overnight.
With his new body, Kenji was able to use a lot more of his Ki, and the journey that usually took more than an hour was completed in half the time.
“What happened to you?”
“Yeah, yesterday you were all skin and bones.”
Muhammed was taken aback by Kenji's transformation; meanwhile, Duy kept looking at him to make sure he wasn't wearing a body suit.
“Started Body Refining.” This morning, when Kenji looked at himself in the mirror, he too was surprised.
He had become a perfect version of himself that he never dreamt of.
“Body Refining? What's that?” Muhammed asked, curious as to how this thing called ‘Body Refining’ could change Kenji so much in a single night.
“Body Refining… It's when you…make your body stronger…using pills or other… what you call…treasures. Maybe you both…should check it…out at the…Library.” Seeing that both of them weren't getting what he was saying, Kenji could only point them in the right direction.
“...Okay, will do!” Muhammed had his interest piqued; after all, Kenji's overnight change was impressive.
“Let's get going, we are already running late.” Duy didn't want to get anywhere near books, so he urged both Kenji and Muhammed to leave.
Leaving the city, the trio headed for the Kobold cave and hunted Kobolds till evening.
Today they killed a total of 53 Kobolds, and 41 of those were carcasses in good condition.
