  “Just these three: Soul Pearl, Tai Petals, and Spiritual Sand. Also, remember to go through it when you have the time.” Writing the names of the materials that Kenji needed, Zhen handed him a book.

  After Zhen left, Kenji headed to the Fairy Market, grabbed food with Mary before returning to the Housing Complex and practicing [Beam] for a few hours.

  The next day, again under Zhen's leadership, they headed for the Howlers' territory.

  “Kenji, why are you just standing there?” During the fight, Anon noticed Kenji didn't move even when the Howler got dangerously close.

  Just as he was about to step in to help him, he saw something that made him doubt his senses.

  As the Howler drew closer, Kenji pointed his glowing finger at the Howler, and then a red light shot out from his finger and entered the Howler's head.

  As the red light came out from the Howler's skull, it dropped to the ground without any sign of life in its eyes

  “Kenji! What was that?”

  “Was it a new skill? Which rank is it?”

  After getting rid of the last Howler, Joon and Anon surrounded Kenji.

  Ever since they started earning more money, the number of skills in their arsenal has increased a lot. But they had never seen such a powerful skill in either the F- or E-rank category.

  “It's a skill… I mastered… recently called [Beam], and it's… a C-rank skill.” Kenji answered, feeling a little uncomfortable with Anon and Joon standing so close.

  “C-rank! How did you get so much money?”

  “Did you buy a Silver Chest?”

  Hearing that the skill Kenji used was C-rank, both of them were shocked.

  Anon and Joon had a hard time believing that it was possible to learn skills without [Skill Books].

  “What's wrong?” Just as Kenji was about to explain, Zhen returned from talking to a member of the Cross Party.

  “Nothing. Kenji got a new skill, and we were just asking about it.” Joon didn't want to put Kenji in a difficult spot in front of Zhen.

  “Zhen, good you're here. Kenji here said that you can learn skills without a [Skill Book]. Help me prove him wrong.” Unlike Joon, Anon wasn't willing to listen to some nonsense that Kenji made up.

  “He is talking about [Skill Manuals]. You would have known these things if you had read the book I gave you.” Ever since their encounter with the Alpha Howler, Anon has been acting increasingly stupid, and Zhen was getting annoyed by it.

  “Let's get going. We can't keep them waiting.”

  Today, the Cross Party had asked other parties to help in clearing the Howlers' territory.

  Thus, many parties had gathered and were planning on slaughtering all the Howlers in the outer and middle regions.

  After collecting the Ki of the four Howlers they killed, Kenji and the others arrived at the gathering point.

  “I thank everyone for coming on such short notice. As you all already know, we have been planning on clearing the Howlers' territory. However, it's unrealistic to think that my party alone can eliminate thousands of Howlers, which is why we have requested your help.

  After clearing the territory, every party will get a 1 percent share of the spoils.” Datu said as all the parties had finally arrived.

  However, he was a little disappointed, as no well-known party showed up.

  “Here, each party can have a storage bag and many other important resources. First, start from the outer region. After clearing it, move gradually into the middle region. As for the inner and core regions, don't worry, we will take care of them.” Datu turned to the leaders of the Aqua and Blade Parties.

  So, no matter how confident the Cross Party was, they couldn't say they could clear the entire Howlers' Territory all by themselves.

  After distributing the storage bags and food pills to all the parties that showed up, the Cross, Aqua, and Blade Parties headed toward the inner region of the Howlers' territory.
