Taking a break from mass producing the swords, helms, and ogre armor I began to plan something a bit more unique. Sketching out a rough design I wanted, a long handle and a curved blade I wanted to craft. It was a war scythe, an actual one, not a blinged out agricultural one but a true one with the blade not junting from the side of the shaft but protruding from the top.
So I took a length of wood some type of mixture between an Ash and an Olive tree that grew in the Ogre Oases. Which would be impossible they where different families but here it gave it a strange set of properties. It had slivery bark like ash but had the pattern of olives. They also had groupings of olives but they much smaller and when broken gave a small glow of light. The olives where delicious with a nutty flavor that went great in the stew or just whole.
There was a group of regular puppets that went around collecting them for me. I got off track, back on to my weapon. That was the long way to say I had to go to some lengths to find a long enough length of wood to serve as the scythes shaft.
Now time for the spearhead/blade. It began as most things do when dealing with smiths, ingots. Making the rough sloped and curved part that would act as the blade. Then I forged the lower part in the circle that would go around the shaft. With that part I made sure the wood was in specs sanding down some more parts to prevent splinting. Then the second to last part, forging three nails to connect the blade cuff to the shaft. Luckily my [Divine Toolset] came with an Archimedes drill to make the holes in the metal. It was harder then I like but it was fine next part was to hammer the nails into the wood securing it.
Making sure to not over drive the nail into its holding I drove the three somewhat short nails into the wood at different points. I had also found out that the bioluminescence organisms that gave light could be crushed en masse to make a vibrant dye. I did something I hadn't done since elementary art class. Taking a rudimentary brush I dipped it into the dye, I had only found out about the properties thanks to a puppet crashing into the stuff. Whatever it did it did not come off and the puppet still glowed along with his war spoil equipment. Why was I doing this? Pure aesthetics, that's why, with my improved memory, perception, and agility I had a precise image of what I wanted to dye onto the metal and the steadiness of hand to pull of the intricate brushwork. I also may or may not have spent several hours doing this design.
I began with the outline, running along the blade I created the impression of the tree the wood came from. From there I slipped into the zone, everything droned out as I began very carefully drew out the tree on to the flat part of the blade right before the blade. When I finally pulled away both sides of the blade had several branches of the olive/Ash tree shimmering on its surface.

Well I'll be a monkey's uncle, this war scythe had a badass name. Though I probably wouldn't wield it myself unless this [Aspirations of Daylight] made into some superpowered item until then though I would give it to one of Yeti Puppets Anastasia was Working on, she had tried to interrupt me but had thankfully stopped when she saw I was focusing which I appreciated heavily. Setting off to find her I came to her laboratory door. Knocking on the layward door.
'Come in' Anastasia called in mentally, and so I did carefully opening the door and closing it behind me.
'Hey, Anastasia everything come out fine?' I asked her looking at the spider and her web diagrams. She used them to make three dimensional diagrams of her totems.

'Absolutely! It was awesome!!! I got to have my puppets throw rocks around! They where screaming and running around like crazy!' Anastasia said excitedly as she showed off an ornate tapestry that she had weaved like something out of a greek exhibit.
'Anastasia, I didn't know that you could weave like this' I replied as I looked at the close detail.
'well duh, im a spider it's like me saying that you are remarkably good at walking on two legs' Anastasia replied sarcastically.
'well anyways it's a great way to remember your great ahh... Achievement' I said as my attention was caught by a severally intricate totem with several parts hanging around it.
'whats that' Ia asked pointing at the 3d blueprint.
'oh, that's supposed to a modified cursed totem, theres a few totems that have the ability to make highly intelligent curses that complete highly specific instructions, so I had the idea of modifying it to guide the puppets, however right now the Mana intact requirement is simply to high' Anastasia explained, and it was interesting though a bit of caution at the whole idea of having the puppets becoming sapient.
Though I suppose as long as they didn't go bananas and Anastasia didn't go full on Dr. Frankenstein on them they should be fine.
'Ya know Anastasia you do know that if you make the puppets sapient we would have to treat them as what they would become, intelligent people' I said and I tried to read the spiders mannerisms.
'of course I figured that was obvious' Anastasia replied.
'Alright then good, but perhaps their is a better way then using a modified curse totem' I stated as I used my very limited understanding of totems to their max as well as my understanding on computers and the human brain.
'well thats the best I got' Anastasia replied some exasperated.
'well here me out I can't say for sure how all the soul stuff works in conjunction to this but the human brain creates memories and makes decisions seemingly based of a series of electrical and chemical reactions, if you could create a totem that responds and bases information on that principle you might be halfway there' I explained and from there Anastasia probed my mind for all I knew which was honestly not that much, like someone who was colorblind explaining a tree to a blind person.
Eventually Anastasia began to craft a model it was rudimentary in that It would only be able to process slightly more complex instructions. Shooed out by Anastasia, I stopped by the map to see if Anastasia marked any new information and their where lines of slik that looked like guard patterns, now that was useful. Selecting my target as a newly discovered Yeti outpost that saw a lot of traffic but had little to no actual permeant population.
It had a decent sized Garrison that would change out every day or so, I would have to plan to make sure that I wasn't fighting double the number I planned on. With everything ready and calculated I moved on to the outpost. Roughly 150 all elites moved with me, as we would need to dodge several patrols in order to reach the outpost. The idea was to deteriorate their sense of safety as we appeared attacked and then bounced without a trace.
Trekking through the sea of night was always unnerving, the silence had a negative impact on the human psychic.
Whenever we saw the faint light of torches we hid until they retreated until we moved forward. This occurred seven more times until the outpost came into view it was built into a ruin similar in make to the Giants lava river Fortress. Their where Yeti bowing their heads as they climbed up the stairs. They spoke union as they climbed up the stairs.
"To he who broke chains, to he who killed those thought themselves better, to he freed us, freed us from the hands of Tyrants" they spoke over and over again like it was a ritual of some kind. Reaching out I felt none of the energy that permeated their cities this was going to be easy. With a push of Mana and intent I sent spears of earth from the feet at the visible guards denoted with torches. They shrieked as they where killed with a single strike. There were cries of panic from the Yeti as they saw the gruesome sight.
Motioning the puppets forward the climbed the stairs and scaled the walls. Meanwhile I levitated myself by a rock platform.
"The Silvered one, he dares—" a Yeti yelled as they were slaughtered. It erked me that I didn't have a choice. Entering the outpost two guards I had missed tried to stop me but with a small push of effort a pillar collapsed onto them killing them instantly. Moving the resulting rubble away I came across a giant wooden door pocketed with burns. Here this was statement, there where few trees capable of making this door and it took several of them to make it.
Pushing it open I entered what could be best described as a shrine. Their where Yeti huddled around a Statue of a Yeti. The Statue showed an image of a Yeti with a collar and chains around his arms and legs broken in his hand he bore a knife and in the other the head of what looked like a human but was way to large to be one.
"Oh the Liberator, the Abominable! Help us" a Yeti draped in cloth prostrated in front of the statue. Yet as a Daemon I knew it was an empty statue unable to help. It put a bad feeling in my stomach watching such human behaviors. Turning around I let the Puppets pour in and heard cries of dismay.
Looking over the walls of the cliff face shrine it made sense now. Oh, boy was I gonna need a grade A therapist after this.

I had did it! The puppet was capable of obeying understanding more complex instructions, it could now patrol and could report changes, whereas before they could only tell you of specific changes you gave them. My cheer was interrupted by a system notification.
