Pov: Kenzo
Turned out to be a rainy day today, so that means a lot of people left home early and since I am working te it feels odd to listen to a silent torture building.
It is nice though, the sound of falling rain as I write- the mission reports don't need to be done yet but I had time to kill so why not, Kanata and Katsuko know how to write a mean report as well, they clearly excel in theory rather than practical stuff.
Which helps a lot when finishing these, all I need to do is go over them and summarise in a bigger report to which I attach all the documents together and pce them in a belled folder which will help me find them if I need them for an investigation ter.
After writing that I listen to see if anyone is coming, before sitting in the corner and unravelling a scroll of challenge.
I want to py me a tower defence game, its been a while since I have pyed anything remotely like that- Konoha has weird tech spikes and I just cant wait until mobile phones boom.
I triple check my surroundings... and then blink.
Opening my eyes to the top of the Hokage building, I stand over watching the entire vilge- I try to leave the roof but a force field stops me... I look around and see a miniature model of Konoha.
I approach the model and see various buttons surrounding it- a call wave button is most prominent.
There are a few monitors that dispy information and I notice the main one has my 'tower' list alongside how many points I can spend...
The 'towers' are ninja who we can buy to position at certain points in this empty version of Konoha, the kage faces are my 'health' and if the enemy ninja destroy them I lose.
I start with 10 points.
Genin cost 1 point.
Chunin cost 2 points.
Special Jonin cost 5 points.
Jonin cost 10 points.
...
And that seems to be all that I can start with, so what should I do? Even if I buy ten genin they will all be spread too thin across the vilge... maybe if I pce them near the faces and hope the enemies don't injure them in the battles...
Or perhaps I start out small defences at the cliff and then work my way up to spreading forces around Konoha to weaken enemies as they get closer.
Ill do a test, I buy five genin and they spawn in as little wooden mini-figures who look like generic ninja.
I pick one up and one of the monitors dispy more information.

So I can only upgrade the three... best leave my points for the future and just cover my bases.
I pce the minifigure down on the Hokage building roof and I see a genin rush in from no where and nd on the roof, he salutes me and begins to watch the area.
I pce all five on the roof and they all stand around me.
I'm assuming they attack whatever moves... how do I command them? If they see something do they chase it for a certain range or do they just keep going...?
I pick up a minifigure and scan the screens... I can set them to support, defence or offense.
I will set them all to defence for the moment and I will purchase a special Jonin and have him pced near me too.

Ohhh... so they get much more stuff to buy, the zero out of fifteen ones seem to add one point for the better while the other two have a straight cost of five and ten.
I pce this special Jonin atop the mountain- the monitor dispying support and such also shows leadership and commands.
He can tell lower ranks to do specific stuff- so I can pce the genin near him and he will tell them how to fight and such.
How do I tell him what I want?
I pce him on the roof.
"Hello commander! What are your orders for me!" He greets me and kneels.
"Make sure these Genin protect the statues and stay on guard against anything, send them in when enemies get too close" I command and he nods his head.
"Orders confirmed" The genin shout.
I pce the Special Jonin at the front of this roof to start and I have the genin spread out on multiple other roofs to keep an eye on things.
I think until I am certain they can act well I will keep a defensive line on the bottom of the kage faces.
I press the call wave button.
-FIRST WAVE-
The forcefield goes down and my monitors and miniature map of Konoha vanishes, I walk to the ledge and see that I can help during the waves.
Nice.
I look down the main road and see twenty bandits running down it and through the main gates... I slide off the building and take off my blindfold for better sight.
I crack my knuckles and my bones pop as my flesh expands and I grow twice my size as my cws expand and I start sprinting at the bandits.
Ill get rid of them before they even get halfway through Konoha- I breathe out thrice and slip and slide down the street with my lightning mana.
*Woosh!*
Dust picks up from the road and moments ter I make contact with the bandits- *Ssh!* my cws swing hard and I ssh violently into the first bandit immediately taking a chunk out of his neck.
I ssh and attack many others as they gang up around me and some run past me- soon however I ssh through every one of them and return to the kage building.
...
A new monitor shows that I have one minute to decide what I need done.
I have twenty extra points so one per bandit... I select the special Jonin and then select his 'Cn' and then 'Special Jutsu' costing me fifteen points... I scan through them all... found it.
Yamanaka cn and there mental link jutsu that allows communication from afar, I them summon five genin quickly with my remaining points and assign them under him.
He has pretty good range on his communications now and I spread my genin thin to ensure maximum coverage and then command him.
"When one genin seems to be failing send more who are idling to help" I say.
He nods his head and I hear shouts from all the genin.
-SECOND WAVE-
This time I don't move and want to see how my defences do on there own, I need to conserve my yang energy and my lightning mana if waves keep coming one after the other all the time.
Twenty bandits this time... at the same spot through the gate, its not until five minutes ter that I see ten more running up from behind those ones.
So thirty in total?
I watch my genin move to face the bandits... its terrible to watch them be clumsy and fail to hold them back, they do swarm well though and manage to block them while more genin come and thin the horde.
...
Wave complete and I now have thirty points, I pce twenty five in five genin separately increasing the taijutsu prowess they have to the maximum.
Those five stand in front of the building and I have them guard from attacks that come from the main road, the other five maintain scouting positions from the other buildings still.
I also put five points into my special Jonin's shurikenjustu so he can help from afar... hopefully.
-THIRD WAVE-
this wave seems to be more of the same, fifty bandits this time from the main road.
The genin that were enhanced deal with them splendidly as they show much more skill than before- its the difference between me and Kanata's skill its that wild.
The special jonin doesn't even send reinforcements as he throws shuriken from afar and thins the horde so that when more come the genin are prepared and waiting.
I gained 50 points from that battle.
I pce another 25 points into the other genin and have them be taijutsu dudes as well, I pce them on the same main road to reinforce that pce as I can protect from any surprise attacks while my enemies are still low level.
My special jonin gets another 10 points in shurikenjustu maxing it out as he overlooks the main road from the main building.
The genin are close enough that he can accurately hit any enemies that get close.
I have fifteen points remaining... I spend two points on a chunin.

Hmmm... cn stuff could get me a specialized unit with cool extra abilities and while I cant unlock special justu they can use generic ones from the cns if I buff there respective area.
I buy four more chunin and then make one of them a Hyuga member with the Byakugan.
I pce them on the main road for now.
-FOURTH WAVE-
instead of small groups this time I see about eighty bandits separated into two sections as they charge the main road.
Okay... I need some AOE to manage that horde of people, I also need to help with this one as my guys will get swamped with just tons of flesh.
I am not so great at AOE genjutsu but I can certainly slice through hordes with my wires, I only did it for forever in that zombie world.
I unch off the building and into the flesh- my everything is dyed red as I ssh through mounds of flesh with my lightning coated wire and eventually the horde thins.
I retreat back to my rooftop and wipe my face of the blood as my genin troops and the horde.
So this challenge scroll is more tactics than anything else, I need to be on top of stuff like that and prepare before it happens to me.
Haaa- I have 80 points with that wave.
I spend 10 on new genin and have them spread across the rooftops next to the main road, I spend 50 points maxing out the Ninjutsu stats and have them be offensive forces with my special Jonin keeping an eye on them to make sure they do AOE ninjutsu.
I pce my five Chunin on my rooftop and spend my remaining 20 points giving them cns.
Two Aburame.
One Hyuga.
Two Inuzuka.
These guys will be kept behind on the rooftops near the mountain and focus on surprise attacks, they haven't been upgraded in anything else so they kind of suck at fighting more than the Genin.
The Inuzuka at least give me two more members in the form of wolves.
-FIFTH WAVE-
One hundred Bandits sprint down the main gate in one big army, my ninja thin the horde with fire ninjutsu, a low tier fire ball it seems and my ten taijutsu genin take out any who manage to make it through the fire.
My special jonin also manages to kill any who sprint past the genin with an excellent shuriken throw.
A simple 100 points to spend.
Okay... 50 points maxing out my chunins.
Aburame have ninjustu, Hyuga and Inuzuka have taijutsu.
The taijutsu Hyuga is defence focused while the Inuzuka are offence focused and my Aburame are support focused.
I spend 10 points on a Jonin.

So the prices are higher on this guy... better be worth it.
I spend 20 on Kenjutsu and I see his mini-figure now has a Katana- I then spend 10 points making him an Uchiha and see three tomoe in his eyes.
Nice... so higher rank, higher cost and therefore higher ability and greater bloodline.
I pce my jonin in charge of the chunin who stay on this rooftop and scan the surroundings.
I keep 10 points for the next round as I run out of time.
-SIXTH WAVE-
The hundred bandits come and I keep an eye out for surprises... halfway through the main road horde I see that ten genin are running along the roofs to attack my ninjutsu genin, Special Jonin sees this and redirects the ninjutsu genin to defend themselves before fire balling the horde below.
...
I need to ensure they are safe, and the horde is far too big to handle without the thinning of them with fire.
I race across the rooftops and meet head to head with some of the enemy genin, they look like they come from Iwa- I pull out a ninja wire and start attacking them as I stare them away from my allies.
The genin on my side are safe for now and I maintain control over the five enemy genin on this side of the rooftops, the left side opposite us now has more reinforcements and we both remove the genin with ease.
After that ordeal is done with I return to the main roof and wait for the bandit horde to be done with.
I have 120 points, 10 leftover from st round.
I spend 20 points on two jonin, I spend 80 points maxing out there taijutsu and ninjutsu before spending another 20 to make them both Akimichi cn members.
They focus down to kill the ten genin and then sweep up below, they will be amazing with there expansion jutsu's.
-SEVENTH WAVE-
And just as expected more enemies try to knock out my horde clearing genin as twenty genin rush them from the rooftops.
...
However having two Jonin help distract and kill those troublemakers quickly, the wave ends rather smoothly on my end giving me 120 points to use.
50 points spent on my main road genin so they have maxed out ninjutsu as well.
50 points spent to max out my ten rooftop genin with taijutsu to defend themselves against any attack.
I save my 20 points for the next round.
-EIGHTH WAVE-
the bandits charge... twenty genin fight...
Everything seems the same, I keep my eyes out on the walls of Konoha to ensure no one attacks from my main defence's fnks.
...
*BOOM!*
My eyes widen and I turn around to see Minato Namikaze's face destroyed by an explosive tag- I witness five ninja attempting to apply more on Hiruzen Sarutobi.
What? I though I had a squad behind me making sure everything was fine, what happened?
I sprint and slide off the building to leap before the cliff edge and I enter into my cw mode to quickly scale the mountain face.
*BOOM!*
I climb up to meet the ninja as destruction and rubble litter the mountain, I hand off the cliff face with a cw and pull out a ninja wire to attack them.
*CACKLE*
I expend a lot of lightning mana to hasten the process and empower my wire to ssh through all the low ranking chunin that I face.
*SLAM!*
*SLASH*
*CRASH!*
My wire hits all targets... they were heavily wounded so it seems my team did something at least, I climb above the mountain and see that there is five dead enemy Jonin as well.
I see... an ambush from behind, it seems my team handled this extremely well considering that these lightning shinobi seemed to be silent and deadly.
Five Jonin and five chunin... how do I defend against this? My genin would be too weak, my special jonin is needed down below and my two Jonin protect the rest.
...
I get 130 points from that st wave and I descend to the rooftop to spend my points before the time is up.
I have to remember that I need to pn ahead as well, I cant handle five Jonin and Chunin by myself at all... so I should create someone powerful to guard the statues.
I buy a Jonin for 10 points.
And using 120 points I allocate them in his stats like this:

-NINTH WAVE-
I pce him on the mountain top overlooking the faces and I rush off the roof to assist him up there, I cw my way up the mountain at an intense speed and as I climb I use my Yang energy to form a bone give tail.
As I get up I hear noises of battle and spend some lightning Mana to speed my climb.
*woosh!*
I fly above the cliff...
*Sm!*
And nd to start helping my new Jonin, I start sparking genjutsu as I drag my tail across the ground making an irritating noise and I unch at the nearest chunin to slice into him with my tail.
*SLASH!*
They block too te as I time my burst breathing for the perfect moment and take them off guard- I rush the next ninja and slowly but surely help my Jonin take them down.
I turn to my Jonin who is nearly maxed out, if I were to guess these enemy jonin are averaging in the point distribution as my Jonin handles them with ease.
They are of the same rank, but not the same skill- *SLICE*
I Carve into the st chunin and run to assist my Jonin who is defending excellently against five enemy jonin, impressive and yet he still is stuck on the defence as he takes hit after hit.
I- *Pop!* my bones crack and my flesh returns to normal as I rush these Jonin, my yang energy seems low and I cant use it to shift anymore.
I instead take a deep breath and pull out my ninja wire.
*Ssh!* *Sm!*
My ninja wire causes distraction which seems like a good enough opportunity for my Jonin guardian to assault one enemy jonin and start killing him.
A few short breaths ter and we finish them off... haaa- haaa- haaa-
I turn to my main road defence and my eyebrows twitch.
Everyone but my special jonin and two other jonin are dead.
I can see twenty chunin dead, they lie next to the genin they killed and it looks like they targeted my genin rather than the mountain face.
...
I slide down the mountain face and leap off halfway to roll onto the Hokage building roof.
I immediately check my points... 150.
Ten points to max out my mountain guardian fully.
...
Damn it- what do I do? I have so little time to decide what to defend- 20 points on 10 chunin and I pce them on the main road.
100 points maxing out ninjutsu on all of them and I spend... 10 points making two of them Sarutobi cn members so they are better at fire ninjutsu.
I spend the remaining 10 points on the special Jonin to improve his ninjutsu, I move him up to help the mountain guardian as he now cannot command the genin who died.
...
Haaa- this is going to suck.
-TENTH WAVE-
I unch off the building and onto the cliff face, this time I save energy and arrive at the top of the cliff a little ter, my two ninja seem to have kept them busy and I go about fighting them the exact same way, this time relying on my lightning mana which is much more abundant due to my personalized organ.
I help kill the st average jonin and I look back to see only one Jonin left on the main road, they succeeded but barely, he is one of the Akimichi cn ninja.
I cant even see what was new that time- as I think to myself I watch that st main road Jonin die as fifty arrows rain down on the exhausted man.
Fifty bandits with bows seem to have arrived a little te and taken shots at the weakened ninja.
Haaa.
I leap off the mountain to deal with them, I take my time as to regain my expended yang energy and I use my free genjutsu to slowly but surely kill them with various illusions that make them attack each other or fall onto a bde, etc and all that.
I rush to the rooftop and I have 200 points to spend.
140 points make a second mountain gaurdian jonin who I pce on the main road and then I spend the remaining 60 points on genin.
I pce thirty on the main road and have the Jonin command them to buy him time as they deal damage to the horde and I pce the other thirty on the cliff top to help handle that mess.
-ELEVENTH WAVE-
I turn to run back to the cliff top and start climbing slowly, buying time to maintain my strength and have- my eyes widen as I see one singur jonin enemy running in from the western part of Konoha- another from the east...
No one can defend against them, If I jump off the cliff I cant block both from blowing up the mountain... and they are only two so of course they are powerful.
*WOOSH!*
The western one sprints forward at an incredible speed unlike no other his sense of style screams taijutsu and I am pretty sure that I read up on that swift release that he uses.
Too te have to deal with this one first.
I drop from the cliff and Arial attack him as he tries to climb it quickly, I ssh towards him with my wire but he is far too quick and jumps backwards away from the cliff before I can hit him.
I breathe out thrice but he is much faster as I try to keep up and hit him- I decide to stop attacking and bide my time as he attempts to attack me- as he does I make sure to slowly corrupt his chakra by making as much noise as I can while fighting him.
*SMACK!*
Something hits the back of my skull and I fall to the ground, I spin around and jump backwards to see the eastern Jonin joining the fight, the other Jonin fires off more earthen bullets and it is made clear that these two are above my pay grade.
One counters me by being too fast and I cannot hit them- the other one takes a ranged position and rapid fires while keeping tht distance- my yang energy is very limited due to no rest times and my lightning mana is down by three points mostly due to overuse of speed and power.
I hear fighting all around me... I may have set myself up for failure in this round.
