Pov: Naruto

  "Is he... just going to sit there?" Choji asks as he stacks another object on Kenzo's head.

  "Yeah, he does that sometimes, says he feels ten times better when meditating and all that nonsense dattebayo" I reply and pick up my ramen cup to finish it.

  "What a strange guy..." Shikamaru comments.

  ---

  Pov: Kenzo

  *Woosh!*

  Jumping off the rock and rolling down the mountain is faster than just sprinting- lightning will take a second longer to get me and I can start to form my nature chakra into the correct shape.

  I stop rolling via leaping and as I unch into the sky and leave a trail of rubble from the attacking lightning I hold out my hand and... ever so gently pluck a dart out of nowhere, this dart is orange and lightning arcs start to trail up my arm as I hold it.

  I speed up with burst breathing and then- release the dart onto the target that is... very, very far away, luckily for me I have a dart made from lightning.

  *ZZZZ* *WOOSH!*

  It shoots down the mountain and hits the target from afar, I nd and start to slide as the orange box takes form around me.

  *Flip* *Slide*

  I trip with the sudden change in environment and suddenly flip and slide across the orange floor.

  I get up as the words of completion are written on the walls and I suddenly open my eyes to my kitchen... that lightning mana took way too long- figuring out how to detach it and have it function on its own... I see why people take generations to learn stuff.

  Basically, I was infusing a shape from my body directly- what I needed to do was sever the mana and learn how to connect with outside sources of lightning mana.... turns out sitting still to detect outside sources of mana is incredibly difficult when running away from lightning above.

  If I had to teach someone this stuff they could learn the lightning techniques on their own in one full lifetime, with my help I could reduce that time to around two, three years to master it at my current standing and if we focused on just one aspect I am sure we could reduce that to a few months.

  Now if they wanted to just focus on detaching and detecting mana? Even with my help they would die from old age before learning it... they either need to be extremely talented and in tune with nature to learn it within their lifespan.

  So even if I gave my lightning blood to anyone else I am certain they would not be capable of standing next to me even if I stopped training and they went all out.

  ...

  Learning one simple skill has elevated me from low special jonin strength to full jonin strength I am sure.

  If anyone wants to contend with Ryū in a storm? They would need to be an elite jonin with some special tricks.

  This is great, I am fine with Kenzo sticking to his high chunin strength, all I need to do is improve my lightning set and train my bloodline abilities.

  "He is awake?" Someone says... Shikamaru right? Boy am I gd that my memory gets refreshed, I just spent so much time... just focusing on one task and nothing else- like a robot... if I am to guess my memory of that was dulled to be more forgettable and much more muscle memory with how it hasn't affected as much even with the time difference.

  I get up and walk to my fridge.

  "Hey O, nothing in there anymore sorry, might want to go grocery shopping this afternoon" Naruto says meekly.

  "No problems here, I will do that ter- I will be going so have fun being yourselves" I say and walk to the door.

  "Uhh... how are you so banced? You have stuff on your head dude" Kiba says.

  I take off... seven mugs? Two candles and my flower vase, pce it on the bench and walk out.

  "Thanks- see you!" I yell and jump off my railing to sprint to my work.

  Its not suspicious to go to work so often right? No, not at all- I am just a workaholic to my friends and family now.

  Ooo- boy do I want to create some lightning techniques though, some self made of course, with detachment and detection working wonders I have a few ideas for some fun stuff as well as maybe learning A-rank burst breathing without a scroll... hehehe, I will be unstoppable!

  Remove that st part it doesn't sound as good.

  I arrive at the forest and switch into my Ryū gear before heading into my office weaving through the halls of T&I... its at this moment when I open the door that I see three people in it.

  The Hokage.

  And two others, a dy and a man.

  "Close the door" He commands and I obey my Hokage.

  The door locks and I stand across from the three and raise my eyebrow... not that anyone can see it.

  "These two are previous root operatives, they have undergone and still undergoing the process of leaving root- in your st report you described being capable of teaching others lightning... 'mana', I thought them perfect for tests in such endeavours, while you described the 'mana' as nonharmful to learn if you guided them... I would not like to test this theory on children at first" The Hokage stops for a moment and takes a puff from his pipe before exhaling the smoke into the room.

  "They will be under your supervision until you can trust them- meaning Kenzo needs to go on a mission outside Konoha for a certain amount of time" The Hokage states and I nod my head in understanding.

  ...

  Kenzo will be gone so that means Ryū will be in Konoha for more than a week... a month?

  "Four months at the minimum, I know this is startling to hear and quite sudden... but doing this will be a great boon for Konoha and there is simply no better time than now" The Hokage tells me.

  Four months? That's... a long time to leave Naruto alone for, I know I cant just coddle him but he needs tutoring before his next few tests.

  "Kenzo will be sent on a mission and I am assuming the other two would want to go on a long term mission with their sensei as well?" I ask.

  He nods in n confirmation.

  "It will be done... the missions will be set tomorrow and I will then have time to monitor them without my Kenzo mission getting in the way" I say.

  "Good, introduce yourselves" He tells the two.

  "What's up man? Oh, I am Raiki" He pumps his fist in the air- the man has shaved the sides of his head to form a small and rather pathetic mohawk, he has a goofy smile and blue eyes with bck hair, thick eyebrows and a strong jawline, he mostly wears... what looks like biker clothes if they were more... ninja like?

  "Lovely to meet ya' names Satsumi!" She smacks the desk and gives me a toothy grin... missing a tooth on the upper left row, cheeky looking face and blue eyes as well, deep blue hair that might be dyed as it turns into one braid and... seems as if the other braid was torn or chopped off with a machete... seems to be wearing gym clothes or pyjamas... maybe a mix of both.

  "Hello, my name is Ryū" I scratch the back of my head and wave awkwardly.

  "So! We get super cool zapping stuff right?" Raiki asks.

  "Yeah, yeah! Lets go zap someone!" Satsumi agrees.

  ...

  They are already getting on my nerves and the four months have yet to start.

  "Lets go to a clearing, it may have wet grass but I am assuming it will be a much better environment" The Hokage says and gets up I follow him... turn around and pull the new... students to follow.

  I have middle aged students, this doesn't help my mental age conundrum I am still stuck with.

  We follow him via flicker and swift lightning breaths towards and over rooftops until we reach a grassy training field, the same one he took me to fight/not really fight Kakashi in.

  "This training ground is yours... (Whisper) paid for with the mission Kenzo will be doing" The Hokage tells me as the two... unique individuals start rolling around in the grass.

  I take off a glove and walk towards the two.

  "Stand up, lets get this done" I command and they get up and dust themselves off before coughing and standing tall, a bit too tall but that's fine.

  ...

  I have never done this and I am giving my incredible power to two obvious dimwits from under Danzo's faction... orange box help me...!

  A small prayer to the box as I use ninja wire and some mana to cut my palm and have blood seep through to my skin.

  "Take a deep breath and close your eyes" they both close their eyes and as they take a deep breath I stab them with my ninja wire.

  "Ow! That hurts my arm!" The man whines as I pour blood down the wire and have its lightning mana infuse this man.

  The blood drips into his veins and I do as the system told me... I let the lightning mana accept this as his new body and start charging in five points worth of lightning mana.

  ...

  I see... I can only give them as much nature chakra that my blood can hold, that will be there limit and without the organ it seems that they will have to make do with just five points until I gain more mana.

  I do the same with the dy and back away as the mana flows through them... it takes a few minutes until they report any funny feelings.

  "And that's when my seventy eighth bird died- Oooh! Oooh! I got a tingle in my chest! I can feel my blood boiling! Hot! Hot!" He starts to panic and sweat heavily.

  Satsumi ughs at him before panicking as well... oh right- the pain they feel will be the same as me.

  "You will feel intense pain that might make you... want to sleep, don't worry and faint- I will be here to manage the mana flowing through you" As soon as they say that they both fall to the ground and I sit cross legged in-between them to pce my index fingers on their hearts... making sure everything is changing as it should.

  Perhaps it is best if I give these two power so I can have time to learn how to teach them and make them better in the future... when I get someone I choose as a disciple maybe it will be much more worthwhile.

  "They will be out for a long time... did you have the missions selected already?" I ask the Hokage.

  "Yours is, I will go and select a mission for Kurenai and the other two, tomorrow night you will leave so make sure Naruto is alright and understanding of this" The Hokage says before puffing into smoke.

  A clone huh?

  ...?

  Why was a clone using a pipe...? Never mind, I don't know enough about ninja clones to even question it.

  Four months of Ryū... I suppose I need to spend his wallet on a new apartment- it is nice having two sets of income, especially when I do two sets of work.

  Luckily Kenzo being a workaholic is not something new or suspicious at all for him.

  I correct the heartbeat of Satsumi... she almost died then, I need to keep watch and not lose focus.

  When they wake up tomorrow they will feel tired and sleep all day, I will have time to Kenzo about and then I will start training them in two days.

  ---

  -Tomorrow night-

  "If- IF you cannot contact the Hokage, Ryū who will drop his address to you sometime this week or Ino's parents I suggest asking the school or one of the teachers for help in any emergency, okay?" I ask concerned for Naruto.

  "Your te for your mission" He says deadpanned.

  ...

  "Oh- and Ino make sure he stays out of trouble, meaning minimum pranks and if his grades drop tell your parents to tell the Hokage to send a letter to me so I can come back and-" I ramble on.

  "Your te for your mission" He says deadpan through my rambling.

  "You just reminded me, don't sleep in-" I am interrupted by Ino smacking my head.

  "Just leave! He will be okay! Okay!? You have said goodbye fifty times already!" She groans in annoyance.

  Has it been that long? Huh, guess I am a bit te... haaaa- I cough awkwardly and start to walk away.

  "Stay safe... use up all of my savings and thanks for the flowers Ino" I say my goodbyes and walk out the gate.

  "Bye! Stay safe O! Ill do everything you repeated more than twenty times!" Naruto says... haaa, I suppose he is more Intune with leaving for months at a time then me, better ninja than I could ever be I suppose.

  "Love you! Please go out with me!" Ino yells as I leave and I wave before sprinting.

  "Knew that would make him hurry up... tch, now I am mad- give me some of his money to but new clothes" Ino gets handed some of my money and I sigh as I disappear into the wilds.

  Gd I transferred much of my money towards Ryū's safe, now I just need a pce to put it that isn't my office.

  My goals for tomorrow are finding an apartment and setting it up... that should hopefully only take a few hours and then maybe start training or pnning my training for the two students dumped onto me.

  The sooner they can be trusted and learned in the basics of my stuff the better off everything will be.

  Kanata, Kurenai and Katsuko should have left for a month long mission two hours ago... I told Lee I will be gone and made sure to sign all the mission documents, Kanata knows how to keep training his deflections so Kat or Kurenai can help him with the throwing... I should be plenty sorted.

  I dash into the forest and come out wearing my Ryū outfit, I then start walking at a slow pace due to my knee injury.

  Its fine since Kenzo cant run very far either.

  The guards greet me and take my entrance pass as well as checking for my headband which I have on the side of my belt now.

  I enter and limp to the hospital, check with the clerk for the right room and then find my two new students sleeping soundly.

  The lightning mana has calmed down considerably and they are... capable of using it, that is if they learn how to- it took me forever but I didn't have a teacher so hopefully they can learn from me with ease.

  They can start to learn... shaping, I cant teach them burst breathing as that has a secret ingredient that I cant still decipher like my walking.

  Forging..? Would take far too long and the need shaping down- I believe coating might be the best thing to start with actually, they can coat any melee weapon they chose or maybe just get gloves to attack that way.

  Sliding and wrapping I will teach first as wrapping helps a lot with fine tuning mana control while sliding is useful for learning external techniques.

  They cant learn darts as that is impossible without my dedicated teaching for decades and decades until they die... they might not even get it in the end.

  Detection might be something to start cultivating- perhaps some small stuff like meditation in the mornings followed by stretches and then basic practice of whatever they learn, taijutsu or etcetera.

  They can then start to learn wrapping with some... oh damn, they can start learning wrapping with string and on a log before using it on themselves.

  I will have to keep a very, very close eye on them and possibly ask for a seal so they don't misuse the mana outside of training until they can use it without killing or maiming themselves.

  Then comes sliding, that would be dangerous to send wire flying into the streets of Konoha so make sure to teach control before then.

  And after those exercises and teachings I will be capable of teaching them coating and fine tuning control in the afternoons, it will certainly be a mess of testing and training at first but they will soon get over it.

  Afternoons would then be my working hours, which would be easy considering that my workers are gone for a bit.

  ...

  So I need to also find a hobby in my free time, or just keep up with training until I sleep or eat.

  Oh! Hobby could be learning new lightning skills as I have a few ideas to try out still don't I? Should be fun for a while, would help to teach them something basic that doesn't require system learning.

  ...

  I double check they aren't dying from their current evolution and scan the room for a chair before dragging it the bedside, I sit at the bedside and nod off to sleep on a chair.
