And the stat increases alone were staggering. His Intelligence and Wisdom had nearly doubled. His Mana had doubled. In six days of slow, patient meditation, he had somehow gained the equivalent of months or maybe years of extreme training.
Keal can't help but feel excited because a stats form 1 to 10 is the Apprentice level rank while a stats of 10 to 20 is the first rank even though he is still at the Appreciate level but some of his stats already past 10 while he still has another core to unlock. This is a good thing since although he has multiple abilities he can't use it without being suspicious while in the Apprentice level rank so the stats increase will help him survive.
'Now what does his new ability do?' Keal asked himself the ability name that made his hands tremble (False Reality). What did that even mean? Illusions? Deception? Something darker?

Keal read it three times in shock and excitement. 'So it's like an illusion but not just simple tricks targeted because I could target the brain itself and not entirely the five senses. I could make someone see something that wasn't there, hear things or more since it does say all senses and it says 'targets' so does that mean I can use it on multiple people?. I have to test it sometimes but it says the effects scale with wisdom which make it use mental strength and not mana as fuel. Damn a (SS) rank ability is no joke I wonder if there is something higher than this.'
'Come to think about there rumors in the academy that the second Prince also has a (SS) rank ability although they don't say what ability it does.' Keal thought before shaking his head to not think much of it. Nothing out of the ordinary has happened since the past few days. Most all the students buy with training so he doesn't meet new friends and speak of friends Keal thought of Oilver. It is a good thing that this Oilver has the same personality as the Oilver he knows from his original world and their friendship which allows them to get very close to the point they share their ability during the exam so they could help each other.

But now is not the time to think about it because he only has four more days until the exam. Even though he can't use his other ability, the stats increase would help but it takes him literally six days just to unlock the second one so he needs to unlock the third one and take advantage of the increased stats again.

Another three days pass as only one day lasts until the test. Keal right now is in his room thinking of his next plan because during those three days Keal already tests it to see if other people notice or the professors notice his second score and none of the professors seem to notice. This is good news to Keal now he could cultivate the third light into a core which he suspected to be related to dark magic or a dark type ability.
Thankfully to the second core his cultivation speed is much faster but it wasn't enough since there only one day last Keal needed to find a way to unlock his third core and suddenly get an idea.
Keal immediately take out his phone and massage Oilver. A few seconds later Oilver reply.

Keal: Do you know a way to get cheap mana crystals?
Oilver: why would you need mana crystal anyway? Are you close to a break though?
Keal: I wish but no, I just find a way to get a lot of mana.

Keal closes his phone and goes outside to the academy teleporter to teleport to the city as he gets there one of the older students who work there greet Keal and smile. "Hello Junior, if you want to teleport, the fee is 50 coins."
This makes Keal's heart bleed because he have over 200 coins. Keal finds when he breaks through to the appreciate level the system gives a 100 coins he tries to save it as much as possible but now he has to spend it. Keal immediately pays his senior as Keal steps into the teleport to the city.
Keal walks through the city seeing the monster sign on the building and other fantasy parts. Keal can't help but chuckle to himself because he still couldn't believe he was in another world. When he gets into this alternative world he mostly spends his time inside his cheap apartment until a bus comes and take to the academy so he hasn't spent his time exploring much.
As Keal continues walking though the city he can't help but still feel a sense of familiarity with this road. Keal continues to walk faster to see if that place also exists in this world after a while he finds it. Keal is standing in front of a simple item shop but to Keal shop is the one he used to work in his original world.
Keal took a deep breath and prepared himself as he opened the door of the shop and on the counter was his old boss, a young skinny man who looks like he is in mid 30 or older than that.
The boss quickly greeted his new customer. "Hello customer, welcome to my shop. How may I help you today?"
"Oh I'm just looking for some normal mana stone. Do you have anything?." Said Keal.
"Oh we do have them. One the normal mana stone is 20 coins or 200 credits. How much do you want?" Said the boss.
"Just give me five of the normal one and I pay in coins." Said Keal.
The boss goes and takes the five normal mana stones and packs them in a bag before putting them on the counter. "That would be 100 coins."
Keal pays the coins before taking the bag while holding back a mix of emotions because his boss is more than just a boss, their relationship is close, literally the boss even introduces Keal to his daughter, whom Keal used dates.
The boss slowly wave goodbye to his customer. "Thank you for shopping here. I hope you come again."
Keal nodded before leaving the shop unknown to the boss smile widely as he watch Keal walk out.
